Feeling the season change

I am spending my Labor Day cleaning up the mess we made over the weekend. Dean and I spent the weekend at the North end of the Uintas hiking Henrys Fork. I have blisters on both heals, my pinky toe and I can hardly move my legs. The throbbing in my feet is totally worth it!!! We spent two days in the rain with our sweet doggies...The fresh air and scenery ground me, the dirtier you get....the better.

Making Breakfast and staying dry.

Meet the new addition to our family (yes we are crazy) Freyja. She is a Lab/Dane mix and we love her already. She is 14 weeks and has the greatest personality.

Freyja and Ranger at Alligator lake 3 miles up the trail.......all tuckered out!!! Freyja did so well for her first trip.

Incredible view! Alligator Lake, taking a few minutes for a snack. I forgot all the condiments and silverware so we ate lettuce with ham and cheese. We picked up some chocolate at REI and topped it with Almond Butter......divine! Needless to say we have a new appreciation for the natural flavors of food and totally fine eating every meal with our fingers.

Henry's Fork River....the leaves are already changing.

Dean and the Dogs on the trail. It started pouring rain right after this picture. Thank you Stoic wear for keeping us dry!!!!

We have had so many amazing adventures this summer. I hate to see it coming to a close and hope to be able to enjoy the boat and one last hike/camping trip.

Making Memories.....................

Bear Lake trip last month. I had the hardest time choosing pictures to post, there are so many good ones. We stayed at the KOA and it was a blast. I never thought a KOA could be  that much fun. We were minutes away from the Marina where we had the boat docked. There was a pool, play ground, community kitchen, store, mini golf course....and on and on.....I would do it again in a heart beat! In fact I looked into reserving a slip for the boat and there is a seven year waiting list, its that cool.

Kaylee hanging with the boys playing yard games.

Ryker on the jumping thinger....

Kaylee on the jumpy thinger......

She is so cute.....I just love this little girl.

Morgan, what an amazing child....I am so lucky he is mine....I am so grateful for him. Mistakes...trouble and all...my kids are my world.

Priceless!

How awesome is he! Caleb is so much fun to be with!!!

Kaylee about to be dunked by Caleb on North beach.....so much fun making sand castles and playing with the kids.

Boys!!!!!

Ryker....spent quite a bit of time in the water being an Alligator.

Ranger and Freyja.......(Notice the Alligators in the back ground).

Me and my boys...seriously......how could it get any better than this.

Notice the smirk on Deans face? Thats the smirk saying "Hang on for dear life Morgan, I will dump you".  Nice work Captain Dean!

Ryker enjoyed Captaining the boat with his Daddy.

We were able to spend so much time together eating fabulous food, hours of boating, swimming.....talking...playing.... We made some very good memories together.

As the season comes to a close we are looking forward to fall and winter. Kayleann will be six this month, Morgan will have his drivers license........the snow be be closer to flying.....calm down boys calm down......I will have to suck it up and winterize the toys. the boys are so excited we have already been to the Canyons Ski Resort to pick up seasons passes.

Hope to see the family soon!!!! Peace, Love, Cheers, Brenda......and Dean
